Why does Writing Always Works?

• Because it does. (just kidding, but really..)
• Thanks to writing, we now (think we) know history. Otherwise, there would be no history books today;
• by writing you make sure you don’t forget important things (To do lists);
• by writing you clarify important ideas and plans you have in mind; when you write you automatically slow down your train of thought (read: peace of mind).
• Writing connects. This way you can let someone know how important they are to you and how much you love them.
• And also, by writing, you can clearly state and affirm that you do not agree with a certain situation.
• When you write, you automatically train your brain, by reducing the risk of developing illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

In which languages do I write?

• Dutch, Papiamentu, and English

What is the delivery time of an order?

• This depends on the assignment.
• Small requests, such as a letter are usually delivered within 3 working days.
• Larger assignments, such as web content, blogs, and email marketing newsletters, require more preparation. For these requests I work with a questionnaire, to clarify the clients’ wants and needs.

Why can’t I see you on WhatsApp?

• Because I don’t use WhatsApp for business purposes.
• I run Write On on my own and to do this properly, a good overview is needed.
• By communicating via e-mail, I can monitor the different processes.
• Do you have a short and quick message? Give me a call or send me a text (SMS) the old-fashioned way.

What is web content?

• Web content is everything that loads on a website. It is an important part of the user experience. All the data that people can read, hear, see and experience on a website can be considered web content. Content examples are texts, photos, sound recordings, videos, images, and animations.

What is SEO? Why is SEO important?

• SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. It is a combination of actions that improve the organic traffic of your website so that you rank higher in search engines such as Google and Bing. With good SEO, web pages can become easily findable, more relevant, and popular with user search questions, and as a result, search engines rank them better. Implement SEO by using relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and headlines in your content. A website with outstanding content helps you to stand out from your competitors within your industry. 

Do I immediately see my information in the Google results?

• No, only Google (or the used search engine) determines who appears in the results on the first page. By constantly posting SEO-conscious content, you can influence this. Continuity is key .

Why write a letter?

• Writing a letter is important to inform the reader about your thoughts. A letter is also important to function as evidence, depending on the purpose of your letter.  It sometimes happens that people say that it makes little sense to write a letter, because the other party won’t read it or that they do not get an answer. When there is a (business) conflict, it is always smart to write a letter, because this is proof that you have made an effort to find a solution.
  In addition, writing helps you gain a better understanding of the situation. This way you can better evaluate things. Send me a message if you need help with a letter.

What are the benefits of Email marketing?

• Email marketing is more than just sending emails. It’s a great way to share targeted and personalized content with current and potential customers. By doing this regularly and intentionally, you will spend less money on paid advertising. Sending a newsletter regularly creates stronger customer relationships, which has a positive effect on boosting your sales. Writing a letter is important to inform the reader about your thoughts. What is Papiamentu?

• The unique mix of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English, and even some French words create the creole language we call Papiamentu (for Aruba Papiamento). You can hear this language mostly in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao. 
  I’ve never been there (yet), but some friends who come from the African islands of Cabo Verde have told me that the language they speak there is very similar to Papiamentu. There they speak Cape Verdean Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole (Kriol).

Where is the Dutch Kingdom?

• The Dutch Kingdom consists of one country in Europe, the Netherlands, and a group of islands in the Caribbean, Central America. These islands are Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao (ABC islands), St. Maarten, St. Eustatius/Statia and Saba (SSS islands). Keep in mind that the Dutch Kingdom is slightly different from the Dutch Antilles (which no longer exists).

Which languages are spoken in the Dutch Kingdom?

• Various languages. On the ABC islands people mainly speak Papiamentu / Papiamento and Dutch. And on the SSS islands people mainly speak English and Dutch. Due to the topographical location, all these islands have many Spanish influences, so most people also understand and speak Spanish.
